Stage 1 DIY Floating Bamboo Desk Complete
Just finished test fitting the parts to my new DIY floating bamboo desk so I snapped a couple of pictures with the iPhone (my disclaimer for the low quality pics). Overall, I am extremely happy with the end result and my wallet couldn't agree more. I'll break down the costs on everything in the next post. Due to the restrictions of where my desk is located in the house, I didn't have room to expand on my idea. Enjoy and let me know what you think.
Stage II? Since there is no room for top selving at this rental property, I plan on cutting down the support brackets. Also adding cosmetic things like aluminum trim around the edges and a lower shelf for the power supply. Also, maybe mounting the mac mini under the desk and adding a mini bonsai tree perhaps. ^_^
